We do not specialize in a particular sector, research tool or region but work for a wide range of sectors, brands and types of customer as well as in different countries and regions and use a wide range of research tools.
Team & work atmosphere
Diversity and variety are also an integral part of the internal work processes at MRC with most of us being part of several client teams at the same time. Teams have from two to twelve members and therefore vary in size and structure, which means that people get to know each other quite well also across our three locations.
We invest a lot of time in interviews with job applicants because it is important for us that we all fit well together. The “chemistry“ within our team is very important for us because we are convinced that to get the best results work must also be fun.
Team work at MRC means partner-oriented work in a flat organization with quick decision-making processes and a lot of responsibility; it also means that we celebrate our successes. For example, we uphold the North German custom of „Kohlfahrten“, the South German one of visiting the Oktoberfest and participate as team in city marathons.

We are looking for employees who seek to realise their own ideas – whether in terms of client or project related work or in terms of developing MRC further. As a mid-sized company with a flat organization and short decision-making processes we can make many things possible. Living and working
We set great store by a sound work-life balance for our employees. Night or weekend shifts are exceptions. Being a small company we are able to accommodate the individual needs of our employees. It is almost always possible to find a solution, e.g. if a child is ill or if someone wants to go on a longer vacation or take a sabbatical.

Exchange & Development
When you work for MRC you are no lone fighter and you are not left on your own for continuing your professional development.
The entire MRC staff gets together two to three times a year for a two-day, internal training. But that is not the only opportunity for sharing and comparing notes on new research methods: our employees also keep up-to-date by visiting exhibitions and congresses, lectures, presentations by agencies or roadshows, among others.
You and your supervisor meet annually for a development review that is based on a 360° feedback process. This serves to develop targets and career perspectives for every employee. If relevant, individual trainings, leadership trainings or coaching measures will be agreed as part of the discussion.
Most of all, however, we learn from each other in daily project work. Daily exchange and learning-by-doing in a team of market researchers with combined more than 350 years of professional experience give you access to tremendous development opportunities. MRC is a one-of-its-kind employer. We are the only company that offers external corporate market research management – and has been doing so for more than twenty years. Our employees therefore have opportunities that are not available anywhere else, neither in corporate nor in agency-based market research.
MRC is owned 100% by the members of the management team all of whom also work for the company. We do not need to comply with any specifications made by external parties, because we are completely independent both of external investors and banks and are responsible only to our employees and to ourselves.
